Imitated Wood-fired Craftsmanship

Made in Dehua, the porcelain capital of China, the clay is fired at a high temperature of 1300°C, undergoing a reduction process in the kiln, naturally forming an ash effect. The surface has a distinctly rough texture. Depending on the position within the kiln, the surface of the vessel may exhibit varying kiln effects, with areas of deep brown, dark brown, deep yellow, and dark gray, giving the vessel an ancient and aged appearance, which not only feels vintage but also exudes luxury.
