Sweetness Filling the Mouth, Unforgettable Aftertaste

The brewed tea exudes a rich honey fragrance. The cup retains its fragrance well, with a sweet and smooth aftertaste that lingers. It flows into the throat like a clear spring, silently and with a lasting sweet aftertaste. The sweetness fills the mouth, making it unforgettable.

Versatile Brewing Methods

Brewing tea with gaiwan (Chinese tea cup), thermo or teapot

  1. Use a gaiwan (Chinese lidded bowl) or a thermos with boiling water to brew the dragon pearl.
  2. Discard the first brew to cleanse the tea and awaken the pot.
  3. Since dragon pearls are compressed tea, the first brew is recommended to steep for about 20-40 seconds to allow the tea to fully unfold. Start drinking from the second brew.
  4. Spring water is recommended for brewing. The water temperature should be around 100°C, and after boiling, wait for 7-8 seconds before pouring.
  5. Use one pearl per brew, no need to pry the tea, simple to brew, convenient to carry.

The tea maintains its softness even after long brews, rich in substances, steadily releasing, and after 15 brews, a heavy steep results in tailwater sweet as cane sugar, with lingering sweet notes.

Hidden Nature, Nurturing the Primal Bing Dao Tea

Bing Dao Village is over 100 kilometers from Lincang City, Yunnan, and about 30 kilometers from Gengku Town. It is located at the southern end of the Hengduan Mountains, with the Lancang River skirting by and the Tropic of Cancer running through the county, known as the “Place where the Sun Turns.”

The Bing Dao Ancient Tea Garden sits at an altitude of 1640 meters and is the original garden of Mengku large-leaf tea. The history of Bing Dao tea cultivation dates back to 1485 AD, over 500 years ago. Located in the remote Bangma Mountains, far from urban hustle, with towering peaks and ancient tea trees, the pristine natural environment is an idyllic and highland secret realm. The reputation of Bing Dao tea is well-deserved, known for its sweet aroma and aggressive fragrance.
