Biluochun from Zhangzhou City resembles a contemporary Chinese painting, capturing a Zen-like tranquility and freshness. Originating during the Jiajing period of the Ming Dynasty, this green tea, discovered by the legendary Zhou Yuting in the Yuexi mountainous area, earned the name “Bi Luo Chun” due to its tea leaves resembling small conch shells and possessing a vibrant turquoise hue. Over the centuries, Biluochun has evolved into a symbol of Zen living.

In the meticulous production process of Biluochun, the simplicity and layering of the Zen Chinese style are seamlessly integrated with traditional handcrafted techniques. Nestled 800 meters above sea level in the mountainous terrain with fertile soil and ample rainfall, the tea plantation provides an ideal environment for cultivating high-quality tea. Each step in the production, from picking to greening, kneading, and drying, pays homage to nature and traditional craftsmanship, resulting in a tea that is not just a beverage but an artistic creation.

In terms of quality and flavor, Biluochun stands out with a high and enduring fragrance, a mellow taste devoid of bitterness, and a light, refreshing aroma that lingers in the mouth. Crafted from single buds, the tea leaves preserve the high quality and balanced nutrients, embodying the neutrality and balance emphasized by the Zen Chinese style, creating a serene and layered beauty for the taste buds.

The uniqueness of Zen Chinese style floral teas lies in the seamless fusion of floral and tea flavors, and Biluochun exemplifies this perfectly. The tea leaves’ aroma intertwines with the fragrance of the flowers, presenting a layered, rich, and harmonious taste. Each sip becomes a floral feast, akin to strolling through a blooming garden during a tea tasting.

Beyond its unique taste and cultural significance, Biluochun is celebrated for its health benefits. Aligning with the principles of the Zen Chinese style, Biluochun contributes positively to health through its rich nutritional content of vitamins, amino acids, and antioxidants. It serves not only as a tea but also as a holistic approach to well-being, embodying the wisdom of the East.

Biluochun in Zhangzhou City isn’t just a green tea; it’s a testament to unique aroma, fresh taste, rich nutrition, elegance, and taste in the Zen Chinese style.
